The Last Of Us Tv Show Update To HBO
The show's first season is currently being filmed in Canada and as was revealed. HBO has teamed up with PlayStation to create what will likely be the first of many PS-inspired TV shows in The Last Of Us. An update to HBO's The Last Of Us production list has revealed Naugty Dog's Neil Druckmann will be directing part of the show's first season.
In other Last of Us Part 2 news, Naughty Dog has revealed more information about the game’s multiplayer mode. We won't got into them here, but it did have some effect: The Last Of Us Part II 's release date has now been revealed, with word that the game will arrive on 19 June, with a trailer online.The TV show is expected to finish production in June 2022. The Last of Us Part IIwas released last year, and while not as well-received as the original, gave gamers a satisfying follow-up focusing on an adult Ellie.There was a big wrinkle late last month when huge spoilers leaked from the game's sequel after (so the company says) hackers accessed Naughty Dog's system. The PlayStation exclusive title was released back in 2013 and was critically acclaimed, winning multiple Game of the Year awards. Along with Uncharted and Crash Bandicoot, The Last of Us quickly became one of Naughty Dog's most popular video games. This resulted in a few images making their way online, including one of Pascal filming the game's memorable prologue with Tommy actor Gabriel Luna. Filming for HBO's The Last of Us series is currently in full swing, with the pilot episode wrapping at the end of August. The decision was made to adapt The Last of Us into a series rather than a movie, with Pedro Pascal playing Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.
Other images leaked more recently showed quarantine zones that, like the picture above, look incredibly game-accurate.The Last of Us may be an incredibly lucrative piece of IP, but there are of course some who are concerned an adaptation won't match the video game's quality. This was around the same time Luna shared the photo of him and Pascal shooting the pilot episode. In July, images made their way online showing what looked to be a scene from the midst of the breakout, featuring firetrucks, police officers, and SWAT vehicles. The Last of Us game director also shared his reaction to seeing the actors in costume for the first time, as well as reassuring fans that the show is "full steam ahead." Neither Pascal nor Ramsey's faces can be seen, but both characters look incredibly similar to the way they do in the first game.
